Kawasaki Robotics Germany: the technology behind the K-Virtual simulation platform
K-Virtual, the robot software from Kawasaki Robotics Germany, runs entirely on FASTSUITE technology, across its Basic, Arc and Expert editions.
The partnership
Kawasaki Robotics Germany launched the robot software K-Virtual, with FASTSUITE providing all of the underlying technology: K-Virtual is powered by FASTSUITE.
The editions
- K-Virtual Basic: robot teaching and simulation, with a virtual teach pendant for virtual commissioning and program validation
- K-Virtual Arc: a parametric “path straight from CAD” strategy that loads welded parts from CAD and generates complete welding programs automatically, with motion commands, all welding parameters and even sensor and camera support
- K-Virtual Expert: users build their own robot cell layouts and add their own simulation parts
