Documentation
Technical documentation
The official FAST Knowledge Platform holds the installation guides, getting-started material, process tutorials and reference manuals for every product. This page is a guide to it, product by product: the main documentation sections and key capabilities. For the step-by-step instructions, go to the official platform.

FASTSUITE Edition 2
The most complete documentation: from installation and licensing and getting started, to tutorials for more than ten processes, customisation (translators / downloaders) and the full reference manual.
Getting started
- Installation and system requirements
- Licensing (local / server licences, management tools)
- Quick start (first project, 3D workspace, work modes)
- Session data recording
- Reference information (downloaders by brand and controller)
- Technical support and warranty
Learn FASTSUITE Edition 2 · processes
- Arc / spot welding
- Laser cutting
- Pick & place / palletising
- Painting / water-jet cleaning

Learn FASTSUITE Edition 2 · engineering and planning
- Concept planning (workcells, component library, layout building)
- Fixture Builder tutorial
- Offline programming (basic / advanced / technology solutions)
- Controller configuration (port configuration, signal mapping)
- Automation engineering and system integrators
Best-practice guides
- Program path analysis and optimisation
- Automatic link path generation
- Automatic process path optimisation
Customisation
- Dynamic joint limits for robots and machines
- Tips and tricks
- Translator / downloader development (with FANUC, Yaskawa, OTC and other downloader examples)
Reference
- Components (controllers, resources)
- Files and documents (CAD import and export, component library, project structure)
- System settings
- User interface (work modes, 3D view layout, display and interaction)
NC program validation and correction on the shop floor
FASTCUBE Shopfloor Assistant
A browser application: operators load, view, correct and validate NC programs right on the shop floor without touching the original CAM data. It runs locally and opens in the browser (http://127.0.0.1:50000/).
Documentation sections
- Welcome (product introduction, audience, learning goals)
- Installation and system setup
- 3D viewer
- Uploading and loading data
- Machine joint interaction
- Automatic collision detection
- NC editor
- NC code validation
- Daily workflows (single-point correction, multi-line translation and rotation, Regshape editing, arc correction)
Cloud fixture design
FASTCUBE Fixture Builder
A cloud application with a drag-and-drop interface for plate fixtures that a laser cutter can produce directly, supporting the workpiece in laser cutting or arc welding.
Documentation sections
- User manual overview
- Installation and system setup (purchase process, hardware requirements)
- The Fixture Builder interface (3D viewer, navigation, parameter panel)
- Creating fixtures (new, drag and drop, save, templates)
- Editing fixtures (base plate, support plates, clamping towers)
- Using the result (export nesting, export CAD model, manufacture and assembly)
Integrated Manufacturing Solutions
Integrated manufacturing solutions
End-to-end scenarios that join engineering preparation and shop-floor execution, linking several FASTSUITE and FASTCUBE products into one workflow.
Integrated sheet laser cutting
- Prepare the digital manufacturing model (build the workpiece, assemble the fixture, check the manufacturing plan)
- Create and optimise the cutting process (generate cutting operations, review risks in simulation, optimise paths and parameters, prepare the production package)
- Handle production deviations (load and review the NC program, locate the problem in 3D, apply a controlled local correction, save the updated program)
